AIIMS INI-CET – All India Institute of Medical Sciences (INI-CET) Entrance Exam
The INI-CET (Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test) is conducted by AIIMS for admission to postgraduate medical courses (MD, MS, MDS, M.Ch, DM) in AIIMS and other participating institutions. This exam serves as the gateway for students wishing to pursue advanced degrees in the medical field at one of India's top institutes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Must have an MBBS, BDS, or an equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI) for medical/dental candidates.
- For MD/MS/PG diploma courses, candidates must have completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before the date prescribed for the admission process.
- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in their qualifying exam.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate must have completed the age of 20 years as of the exam year.
- Nationality:
- Indian nationals, foreign nationals, and OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) are eligible.

- Form Submission: Fill out the online application with your personal, academic, and professional details.
- Upload Documents: Upload a recent passport-size photo, signature, and documents proving eligibility.
- Fee Payment: Pay the application fee via online payment methods such as debit/credit cards, UPI, or net banking.
- Admit Card: Download the admit card once it is released.
Exam Pattern
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Sections:
- Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the medical subjects of the undergraduate curriculum.
- Total Questions: 200.
- Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers, -1/3 for incorrect answers.
- Duration: 3 hours.
