AMUEEE – Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam
AMUEEE is an entrance exam conducted by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for admission to its undergraduate engineering (B.Tech) programs. It is an annual examination that serves to select candidates for various engineering disciplines offered by AMU at its Aligarh campus and other centers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Class 12 or equivalent.
- Age Limit:
- The candidate must be 17 years of age as of 31st December of the admission year.
- Nationality:
- Candidates must be Indian nationals or hold a foreign nationality as specified by AMU.
Application Process
- Registration: Visit the official website (https://www.amu.ac.in) and register for the exam.
- Form Submission: Complete the application form with personal, academic, and contact information.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and other required documents.
- Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online via debit/credit cards, net banking, or other available methods.
- Admit Card: Download the admit card once it is available.
Exam Pattern
- Mode: Pen and Paper-based Test (Offline).
- Sections:
- Physics (50 questions).
- Chemistry (50 questions).
- Mathematics (50 questions).
- Total Questions: 150.
- Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers, no negative marking.
- Duration: 3 hours.
Syllabus
- Physics: Mechanics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics, Waves, and Modern Physics.
- Chemistry: Physical Chemistry (Atoms, Molecules, Equilibrium), Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry.
- Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, and Probability.
The syllabus is based on the CBSE Class 11 and 12 curriculum.

- Appear for AMUEEE and secure a valid score.
- Participate in the counseling process organized by AMU.
- Seat allocation is based on AMUEEE rank and preferences.
- Complete the admission procedure by submitting documents and paying the fee.
